47th GMA Dove Awards//behind the scenes
The 47th annual Dove Awards is one of the biggest music nights in Nashville.
Artists of all genres coverged on Inspirational music's biggest night to honor artists, producers, songwriters and filmmakers. Lipscomb's Allen Arena hosted the large crowd and the industry's best from all over the world.
Highlights were performances by Jonathan and Melissa Helser, Natalie Grant, We Are Messengers, Tye Tribbett, and the surprise reunion of dcTalk. Hosted by Tye Tribbett and For King and Country, the show was taped and aired worldwide on Oct. 16th.
Extra fun stuff: myassistant/makeup artist Kayla Felker and I had a great time chatting with incredible artists, some I've met over the years, and some for the first time meeting. Selfies with Michael Tait, Kevin Max, Bill Gaither, Natalie Grant, Lecrae, and Kirk Franklin! Great folks and the buzz of backstage was electric.
