Gunn Farm Bridal Styled Shoot

models-Trish Bowen and Tyler Shearon

Sometimes things just come together.

This year I've had the chance to encounter some really wonderful people. Marcia is one of them.

Our husbands knew each other and both had the sense we would hit it off. Well, we did.

Marcia is a business owner, and entrepeneur. She's beautiful, kind, endearing, smart, and one of those people that everyone wants to be around. I had the amazing opportunity to capture her wedding to Nathan on her families own century old farm in Adams, TN. It was truly an honor to feel the love and warmth from their family and friends as we gathered for their special day.

Not only was it special in the way of their romance, but also because it was the very first wedding of many to come at the farm. Nathan and Marcia are extremely passionate about the land and it's rolling hills, lake, farm land, and barns. There is a special feeling as you drive down the long drivway to the main house. As Marcia gives the history of the land, you can sense a deep pride and nostalgia for days gone by and future possibilities.

Situated just minutes outside of Clarksville, the farm is a sprawling 140 acres of natural Tennessee beauty. The Clarks have a vision to see other couples start their "happily ever after" as a wedding venue, launching this year. If you're interested in contacting them about dates and pricing, email Marcia at gunnfarmweddings@gmail.com. I am hoping to shoot some lovely weddings out there as well this summer! If you'd like to resereve a me as your wedding photographer, you can send me a message through this website :)

I was extremely excited when I was asked to take shome promotoional photos for the venue and jumped at the chance to put together a styled shoot. I connceted with a makeup artist from Franklin, TN-Brenlynn Craker, hair stylist Kendra Williams, and 2 bride models, Jax Taylor of Clarksville and Trish Bowen of Franklin, Madison Clark of Clarksville, and Tyler Shearon of Chapmansboro--and we set to work upon making the shoot happen.

The whole team worked extremely well together as the sun was setting and making a lovely backdrop for our photos. We had a blast and the shots came out lovely. By the end of the evening people were relaxed and hanging out. For a group of almost total strangers to come together for a project it was extrordinary.

Here, makeup artist, Brynlynn Craker applies makeup for Madison Clark, bridesmaid model.

Here's a look behind the scenes-in my element, shooting Trish at Gunn Farms, I love being a photographer!

I loved working with these models, venue owners, hair and makeup team! They allowed me to give creative direction while doing what they do best, and I was able to shoot with ease and confidence.

Surrounding yourself with the right people makes such a huge differenece on any project.

I'm looking forward to many more of these types of shoots. I am very happy to take on a "Tyra Banks" kind of role in directing shoots and working with artists and models.

Here's a screenshot of the final product rack cards for Gunn Farm Weddings I designed, so great to see the photos in print. I'm also using some of the photos for my own new wedding flyer and prints for the Clarksville Bridal Showcase coming up on Jan. 24 at Wilma Rudolph Event Center. I will have a booth there with A Rose Garden Florist, and we will be right next to the Gunn Farms booth, so come on out and say hello!

Here's so more shots from the evening.....
